BASED IN TELLURIDE, COLORADO
K2 Event Co. was established in 2020 as a full service, hands-on wedding and event planning company headquartered in Telluride, Colorado. Our love for event planning is rooted in our love for the process - start to finish. We collaborate with clients and local, regional and national vendors to conceptualize, design, and bring to life events that are unique to each individual client and enhanced by the natural beauty and landscapes we work within.
We strive to connect on a personal level, employ tools for a modern approach to planning and design, and coordinate your event from day one to go time! Superior service custom to your personal vision is our main goal. And with over 20 years of collective event production experience, our team is sure to exceed your expectations!
Meet Kristen
FOUNDER + LEAD PLANNER
Founder and lead planner, Kristen, originally moved to Colorado as a wrangler on a ranch in Creede. She quickly found her passion in the event world after moving to Telluride to work with the ski resort.
She is deeply rooted in Telluride's local community, being a mentor with One to One and a member of the town's Ecology Commission.
A visionary, Kristen knows there are no boundaries to what this team can do, and is excited to grow year to year as the team talent blossoms and evolves! When she is not on site or building out event details, Kristen is most likely playing with her daughter, Charlotte, her husband and dogs, or on the golf course.
Meet Trisha
PRODUCER + LEAD PLANNER
With a background and degree in hospitality and event management, Trisha has been on the K2 Event Co. team since 2021, and we are so lucky to have her! She has recently grown into the role of lead planner + production manager, and you will see her at most every event.
Although she has spent the last 14 years falling in love with Telluride over and over again, Trisha’s southern roots and hospitality remain in full force! She is a wonderful energy to be around and tackles any obstacle with grace.
Her love for a great party always brings fresh ideas to make every event unique + special. And when she is not creating party magic, Trisha can be found skiing, cycling, riding her Harley, and snuggling her standard poodle, Beignet aka "Bennie."
Meet Kate
ASSISTANT PLANNER + TEAM STRATEGIST
A New Yorker at heart, Kate joined the team with previous experience working at The Knot magazine in Manhattan.
Her passion for creating dream worthy events feeds into the never ending energy she brings to planning. With a focus on seamless execution, Kate’s attention to detail means every affair is executed to its full potential. We are incredibly lucky to have Kate on our K2 team, both on site at events and all the incredible behind the scenes work she does as well!
Meet Delaney
ASSISTANT PLANNER + SOCIAL GURU
Delaney spent much of her childhood in Telluride until three years ago when she decided that her dream of living in the San Juan mountains could be a reality. Her degree in hospitality and event management led her to planning large-scale corporate events for hotels in St. Louis before she joined the K2 team.
It’s nearly impossible to catch Delaney without a smile. Her bright energy and excitement to execute your vision has made her an important addition to our team. When Delaney isn’t found on-site or in our K2 office, she enjoys skiing, spending time with her friends, and enjoying the Colorado sunshine in town park.
